Liverpool Greats and Alder Hey
Arena Artists Anna Ketskemety and Sarah Jane Richards have their ‘Liverpool Greats’ portraits on display at Metquarter in the city centre until 17th June after which, they will be sold as part of a fund raiser for Alder Hey Childrens Hospital.
In all, 22 portraits of famous and celebrated Liverpudlians were created by Artists for the Liverpool Discovers Trail that initially ran between 14th February and 8th May this year. Anna painted portraits of World Champion Gymnast Beth Tweddle and former Heavyweight Champion Boxer John Conteh, while Sarah chose to paint the flower seller and celebrated local Lizzie Christian and Singer/television personality Cilla Black.
