Janet Wilkinson
I create artwork on the page through drawings and collage and also use metal and textiles. A vital part of my creative process is the physical making of work, a dialogue between me and the metal in my hands or the cloth at my fingertips. I tell stories through my work, evoking memories and strong personal responses. Passions for collecting vintage textiles and for the history of stitch directly influence my hand printed and constructed textile pieces.
