In my work I am looking at ideas of memories as separate objects, marks, brush strokes existing in an uneasy, bleak cohesion, so fragile that they could break, but all needed to create one piece of work. Looking at artists such as Alexander Calder, Fiona Rae and Tracey Emin. I wish to continue to develop my work as kinetic and stable art Using the movement within my kinetic work to allow it to breathe and tell its own story.
I use the development of my work to create an outlet for my emotions which at times can be complicated and troublesome. I wish to explore the thoughts and feelings I have and how they have shaped me as a whole. Looking at how I often reject these feelings as a true part of me and consider them to be the thoughts of an intrusive invader Plaguing my mind. I would hope to use the stable art to explore these emotions this dream like state of existence. Looking at how to manipulate objects and transform them to tell a story and how this story can change.
